What is Alone Time?
Alone Time is the radical act of enjoying time by yourself. We’ve been fed a steady diet of couple-centric happily ever afters, leading us to believe that romance is everything and the rest is just filler.
Alone Time was born from the journey of breaking free of societal narratives and evolving from the discomfort of small moments of solitude and living solo in big ways into the discovery of an ability to thrive in aloneness.
Divorcees, forever bridesmaids, family members, metamours. Overworked 9-5ers, freelancers, students. We all benefit from a stronger relationship with ourselves. Alone time is for everyone.
We are here to support and hype you up to gain personal confidence and dispel those sneaky outdated narratives that will lead to increased joy, creativity, connection, and greater sense of self-satisfaction in life. No plus one required.

Hi, I’m Trish. Professional third wheel. Amateur life disruptor.
I have an MSW, a passion for social justice, and a recent history of being single for 8 years. I love my alone time almost as much as I love my 11-year old chihuahua. Few things excite me more than supporting people on their journey to break free of societal norms and find ways to be better at spending time alone.
Some of my favorite alone times include:
going to the movies on a Friday night
hiking Mt. Si
long distance train travel
staring out the window
